Nicarbazin is mainly used to prevent chicken cecal coccidia (Eimeria tenella) and heap type, giant, poisonous, Eimeria brucei (intestinal coccidia).
According to the test, the drug can be effectively inhibited within 48 hours after infection with coccidia. If the drug is used for 72 hours, the effect is significantly reduced.
The recommended dose of nicarbazin has little or no effect on the body's immunity to coccidia. In addition, coccidia resistant to amprolium is still effective.
